Graphite scrap refers to carbon products in the graphitization of waste products and graphitized products in the processing of cutting and other materials. Graphite crushing/graphite electrode crushing defines graphite crushing differently in different materials. Some materials and literatures refer to graphite crushing (such as graphite powder) as graphite crushing when the graphite particles are not very large. Others say that the graphite products have a certain size, and the graphite crushing in blocks is called graphite crushing. Ink block. Graphite crushing originates from graphitization and machining processes of graphite products. Graphite scrap is used as additive and conductive material in steelmaking and foundry industries. It can also be processed according to customer requirements. They are also widely used in electric arc furnaces (Lian Gang) and electrochemical furnaces (metallurgy and chemical industry).
Graphite crushing use
Graphite crushing has a wide range of applications because of its low ash content, good conductivity and thermal conductivity. Graphite crushing can be added to various formulations of less or more ash products. Graphite crushing is generally broken into small and medium particles.
Compression yield
Graphitized coke: Adding a certain amount of graphite crushing to the batch can help to improve the plasticity of the paste after mixing and kneading, especially in extrusion molding, it can reduce the friction resistance of the paste to the extrusion nozzle, and is conducive to improving the yield of molding products. The adsorption performance of coal tar pitch by stone grinding is better. The addition of stone grinding to coal tar pitch can reduce the “empty” waste products (i. e. the honeycomb structure formed at the upper end of the product after calcination) and improve the thermal conductivity and alkali corrosion resistance of carbon blocks.
