Preparation of graphite rod EAF before firing.
1. Read the operation instructions of graphite rod electric furnace, familiar with the general structure and performance of graphite rod electric furnace and matters needing attention.

Graphite rod electric furnace operation:
1. Setting temperature: Pull the manual auto-coupling east-selector switch on the graphite rod electric furnace panel to the “stop” position, turn on the power switch, set the temperature of the LTDE temperature controller of the graphite rod electric furnace, and bake the furnace first: the graphite rod electric furnace according to the process: the conductive graphite rod 200–400 C 8–10 h furnace door opens. The door is closed at 400–600 8h. The door is closed at 600–800 8h. The graphite rod electric furnace can remove moisture, improve insulation performance, sinter ash gap and increase lining strength. Avoid heating up damage to furnace body.
2. Manual heating: trap “manual voltage regulation”, “automatic voltage limiting” two potentiometers to “low” position will be selected switch to “manual” power on, slowly boost pressure, until the graphite rod all red and temperature to 100 degrees above when pulled up to “automatic” heating. Adjust the “automatic voltage limiting” potentiometer, increase the voltage and limit the maximum voltage control heating power.
3. Pay attention to observe the indication of current and voltmeter, monitor the running state, pay attention to the safety of electricity and heat resistance.
4. After the operation of the furnace, when the furnace temperature drops to about 300 degrees, it can open Lumei, take out the test pieces, close the furnace door, select the switch to pull out the “stop” and turn off the power switch.
