Due to different industries, some enterprises lack of relevant knowledge about how to use graphite materials correctly, so there are many problems in daily production. It is very important for us to understand and master the characteristics of graphite materials for design and material selection. Only by fully understanding and mastering the basic characteristics of some graphite, can we choose the corresponding materials for processing graphite devices according to the actual needs of graphite devices. The new graphite devices are easy to be arced in calcination, but to different extent. However, in order to prevent the device from damage to the greatest extent, we should strictly follow the operation process. At the same time, graphite devices are affected by air humidity, absorbing a lot of water vapor, which is very easy to oxidize. When a large amount of silicon vapor is absorbed into the graphite crucible, its original strength is greatly affected, and its service life is naturally greatly shortened. Improper temperature control in the furnace also tends to greatly reduce the service life of the device. When silicon monoxide flows through the graphite parts, it will react with graphite, such as the graphite crucible, heater and heat preservation cylinder to generate silicon carbide. The thickness of the graphite crucible and the heater will inevitably decrease after the SiC produced is removed by the furnace cleaning. The service life will inevitably be greatly shortened.
