The specific saturation magnetization of TiO2 / magnetically expanded graphite carbon is 4.7 EMU / g, the mass oil absorption rate is 17.2 g / g, the UV degradation rate of methylene blue is 34% in 90 min and 55% in 60 min. The experimental results show that ferrite and TiO2 are deposited uniformly on the surface and inner pores of the expanded graphite in the form of particles, which has little effect on the porous structure of the expanded graphite; TiO2 / magnetic expanded graphite has the properties of magnetism, oil absorption and photocatalytic degradation.
With the development of industrialization, water resources around the world are increasingly threatened by various oil and oil-based chemical pollutants. TiO2/ magnetically expandable graphite carbon was prepared by sol-gel method on the surface of expanded graphite with nickel ferrite and TiO2. Oil and oily chemicals are very harmful. Once they leak into the water, they will pollute the water. The treatment of oil and oil-like chemical pollutants in water is of great significance. XRD, SEM and EDS were used to study the crystal phase composition and particle group characteristics of the product, and the adsorption performance of TiO2 / magnetic expanded graphite on diesel engine oil was tested. VSM and UV spectrophotometer were used to analyze the magnetic properties of TiO2 / magnetic expanded graphite and its photocatalytic degradation effect on methylene blue / methyl orange. At present, adsorption materials are widely used to control water oil pollution: inorganic porous materials such as activated carbon and plant fiber.
