The quality of China’s graphite ores is excellent. Although the overall grade of crystalline graphite ores is medium, there are rich ores, the graphite in the ore is flake, the degree of crystallinity is higher, the impurity content is less, it is easy to choose, and the amorphous graphite ores have high grade and little impurity content. Whether it is the flake graphite produced by the crystalline graphite ore, or the microcrystalline graphite produced by the amorphous graphite ore, the process performance is good and enjoys a long reputation in the international market.
- Co-associated minerals
Among the graphite deposits in China, the total amount of other minerals associated with graphite is less and the value of comprehensive recovery is not high. The beneficial components of symbiosis with crystalline graphite mainly include sulphur, titanium and vanadium three kinds: sulphur is deposited in pyrite and pyrrhotite, Titanium is deposited in ilmenite and rutile, and vanadium is deposited in minerals such as vanadium mica and calcium-vanadium garnet.
